Brandon Astle Named Media Relations & Ticket Manager

Off the ice, the Rivermen announced another key signing Wednesday, naming Brandon Astle as the clubs Media Relations and Ticket Manager.

For the past three seasons, Brandon has been the voice of the Langley Chiefs and will continue broadcasting games for the Rivermen both at home and on the road to go along with his new role with the team.

"Brandon has shown hard work and dedication to junior hockey here in Langley since he first started three years ago and we feel he is a great fit for this position," Director of Operations Taylor Henderson noted Astle’s familiarity with Langley fans will give the fans another familiar face around the Langley Events Centre.

Astle took over play by play duties with the Chiefs in the 2007-2008 season after receiving his broadcasting diploma at Columbia Academy.

"I could not be any more excited to stay on with the Langley Rivermen and work with the Henderson family," said Brandon Astle about his new title, “doing the play by play for the club is a passion of mine but to be given the chance to contribute with ticket sales is a great opportunity."

Brandon will start his new position at the Rivermen office immediately and can be reached directly at 604-455-8832 or at [email protected]
