The BCHL is pleased to announce the 2015-16 campaign of the BCHL – Five Hole for Food Challenge will be presented by First West Credit Union.
Once again, each BCHL club will host a night this season for fans, supporters and sponsors to try and raise the most food and donations for their local food bank.
“As we know, hunger is not a just seasonal obstacle for many families,” says BCHL communications director Brent Mutis. “By going around our league through the whole season, we again plan to provide support for local food banks at times when they may not be receiving a lot of donations. Our league has made a big difference in each of the last two years and with extra support from First West Credit Union, we hope to make an even bigger collective contribution this season. The addition of a new franchise in Wenatchee makes this goal even more realistic.”
The Rivermen’s turn is November 7th vs. Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Fans who bring a non-perishable food item will receive FREE entry into the game.
“The Rivermen take great pride in helping the local community, and this is a great league wide effort to support our communities that the 17 teams in the BCHL represent,” said Rivermen Director of Operations Taylor Henderson.
Game time is at 6:00pm at the Langley Events Centre.
