The Langley Rivermen and Wenatchee Wild alternated wins in games one and two over the weekend. In the opening game of the series, a two-goal third period from Torrin White was enough to give the Riv a 4-3 win to go up 1-0. In goal, Bo Didur was spectacular stopping 43 of 46 shots put his way.
A day later, the Wild saw themselves up 3-1 in the third period with just over 10 minutes to go only to have the Rivermen stage a dramatic comeback. Adam Sinclair got his team to within a goal at 17:13, and with eight seconds left and the goalie pulled, Will Campion fired a perfect shot to the top corner from the right point to force overtime. At the 9:30 mark, Brendan Harris scored the game winning goal for the Wild to even up the series at one game a piece.
