Budy and Crookshank Heading to Canada West Camp

Monday morning Team Canada West announced its Selection Camp Roster for the upcoming World Junior A Challenge.

Of the 28 BCHL Players, 2 are our very own Rivermen; Brendan Budy and Angus Crookshank.

 

Budy, in his second season has had a strong, consistent start tallying point(s) in all but 8 games, 2 of which were shut out defeats which puts him at 11 goals 20 assists for 31 points in 27 games. While contributing offensively and currently sitting in 8th in league scoring, the 17 year old Captain is contributing in all areas of the game.

 

 

 

Crookshank, also in his second season began his year after missing the first 8 games and came in eager to get back on the ice and has been a key contributor in the Rivermen’s early season success. Posting 13 goals 8 assists in 19 games puts him just over a point per game production as well. Angus is versatile,and explosive on the ice and can play in all areas of the game.
