The Langley Rivermen have acquired forward Max Dukovac (02) from the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in exchange for future considerations.
The native of Aurora, Illinois signed with the Nanaimo Clippers last season, however, he didn’t see any game action during the shortened pod season. Dukovac was then traded from the Clippers to the Bulldogs on June 1st of this year, before being traded again to Langley just a couple months later.
Back in 2019-20 Dukovac played for the Chicago Mission 18U AAA team where he suited up in 14 games that saw him score 10 goals and 11 assists.
The 6’1″ 181-pound forward describes himself as a skilled and fast two way player that isn’t afraid to go into the corners but also isn’t afraid to have the puck on his stick.
“I am super excited to play under Coach Henderson because I believe my playing style fits his style of coaching perfectly. I have heard nothing but good things about the Langley area and their fans.” Dukovac said when asked about the trade to Langley.
Dukovac will join his new teammates over the next couple of weeks as training camp is set to open up on September 17th.
