Langley Set to Welcome Coquitlam, Surrey to the Lodge for Weekend Home Matchups

The Langley Rivermen will look to get back on track this weekend against some familiar foes. The Coquitlam Express and Surrey Eagles will pay visits on Friday and Saturday night respectively. This will already be Coquitlam’s fourth and final trip to the Lodge this season and Saturday provides the fourth meeting with Surrey. The Riv (6-8-0-0) have been hot as of late, winning four of their last six games, and look to keep gaining ground in the Mainland Division. Coquitlam (10-2-0-0) currently leads the way while Surrey (4-9-0-1) sits in last place.

North Dakota commit Brendan Budy is off to a hot start this season. With 20 points in 14 games so far, he sits fourth in league scoring. Recent Minnesota State commit Jake Livingstone leads all defensemen in the BCHL with 16 points of his own.

Game time for Friday and Saturday is 7:15 pm on both nights at George Preston Arena.

Tickets for home games can be purchased online at, at the George Preston Recreation Centre “The Lodge” box office 45 minutes before puck drop, and by calling 604-229-2352 or emailing
