Riv look for 6th straight win over PG

After a thrilling double overtime win last night, the Langley Rivermen try to extend their winning streak to six games over the Prince George Spruce Kings. Yesterday’s win featured a couple milestone goals from Angus Crookshank and Alec Capstick, who scored their first career BCHL markers. Crookshank, a commit for next season, wasted no time making an impact as he scored on his first shift at the 3:01 mark to make it 2-0 early on. Just over six minutes later, it was Capstick’s turn to bring home a new souvenir, as his first goal made it a 3-1 score for the Riv. The Spruce Kings were able to tie the game at 4-4 with a pair of second period goals, which sent the game to overtime after both teams were held off the score sheet in the third period. After 4 on 4 solved nothing, Torrin White played hero scoring his 15th goal of the season to earn the extra point for the Rivermen.
