Rivermen acquire Tyler Schleppe from the Nanaimo Clippers

The Langley Rivermen have finalized a trade with the Nanaimo Clippers, acquiring 2001-born forward Tyler Schleppe in exchange for 2001-born forward Tristan Fraser.

Schleppe, who is entering his third BCHL season has picked up three goals and four assists in 13 games with the Clippers during the extended exhibition schedule. Last season the 6’3″ 205-pound product from Vancouver, BC scored 13 goals and added 19 assists in 56 games with the Coquitlam Express.

“We’re excited to get Tyler into the line-up. Tyler brings a nice package of size, speed, and skill. We’ve seen a lot of Tyler over the past couple of years and I was always impressed with his consistent compete level and ability to put the puck in the net.” said head coach and GM Bobby Henderson.

With games being canceled over the next two weeks due to COVID-19 fans will likely see Tyler Schleppe in a Rivermen jersey when they face off against the Chilliwack Chiefs on November 23rd.
