The last meeting of the season between Langley and Coquitlam goes tonight at Poirier Sports & Leisure Centre. The Riv lead the season series 4-2 and has been a very high scoring season series. In total, 55 goals have been scored in the six head to head matchup’s and the Rivermen have scored at least five goals in every single game.
Langley is coming off a 5-1 win on Thursday against Prince George, while Coquitlam enters fresh off a 6-1 loss to Chilliwack last night. The Rivermen sit 3rd place in the Mainland Division at 30-21-3-1 for 64 points, while the Express are 22-27-5-1 for 50 points.
Only three games remain for the Rivermen before playoffs begin. They will start the post season as the #3 seed in the division as catching Wenatchee is no longer possible.
