It will be a great night filled with lots of fun for the whole family.
We will be hosting the second annual Family Fun Fest inside the LEC Banquet Hall that will feature games and activities for the kids. On the concourse there will be a live performance by Chris Buck Band, presented by JRfm.
Inside, the night will start off with a free gift for the first 1500 fans. Global BC will be giving away 1500 Rivermen Foam Hockey Glove Fingers to the first 1500 people who enter the building.
During the first intermission, two lucky fans will be selected to participate in the Envision Financial/Global BC Dash for Cash alongside Global BC personality Leigh Kjekstad. The fans will try to grab as many of the 5,000 loonies that will be on the ice in 90 seconds – whatever they grab, they keep!
In the second intermission, we will be giving away a $100.00 Tim Horton’s gift card during the flip cup game followed by the Super Save Chuck a Puck contest.
Following the game, the entire team will be signing autographs for the fans.
There are a few key promotions that night of note:
- Fans who bring a non-perishable food item to support Shaw/Global BC’s Thanks for Giving Food Drive receive 2 for 1 admission to the game
- Fans 15 and under get into the game for free
- It is Guaranteed Win Night; if the Rivermen do not win, everyone in attendance get into Sunday’s game (the next day) for free!
