Rivermen Look for Revenge in Victoria, Cowichan

The Rivermen look to bounce back this week as they head to the Island to visit the Victoria Grizzlies and Cowichan Valley Capitals. This past weekend, the Rivermen dropped a 3-2 decision to Wenatchee and a 7-2 game to the Grizzlies. This will be the final trip to Vancouver Island in the regular season for Langley.

In the loss to the Wild on Saturday, Hunter McCoy and Will Dow-Kenny scored the two goals for the Riv while Jonathan Mor made 28 saves on 31 shots. Brendan Budy and Ryan Helliwell got the Riv on the board against Victoria on Sunday.

After the rematch tonight against the Grizzlies and a matchup on the following night in Duncan, the Rivermen will fly up to Kitimat to participate in the 2020 BCHL Road Show where two games will be played against the Prince George Spruce Kings alongside other festivities.

Tickets for home games can be purchased online at HappsNow.com, at the George Preston Recreation Centre “The Lodge” box office 45 minutes before puck drop, and by calling 604-229-2352 or emailing tickets@langleyrivermen.com.
