Township of Langley, BC (Tuesday, June 16, 2015) – The Langley Rivermen are pleased to announce that registration is now open for the R.E. Mountain Secondary School and Yorkson Creek Rivermen Hockey Academy.
The Rivermen, R.E.M.S.S and Yorkson Creek Middle School have partnered up to offer a skill based hockey academy that a student would take in lieu of a Physical Education class. Students would train on the ice at the Langley Events Centre two to three times per week under the instruction of the Rivermen coaching staff, including Head Coach and General Manager Bobby Henderson.
“I’m glad we’re teaming up with R.E Mountain and Yorkson Creek and introduce the first ever Rivermen Hockey Academy,” said Henderson. “Kids in the Langley area can now take part in an elite hockey academy right in their own backyard.”
Students who are wanting to register for either hockey academy will have to be a student at either R.E Mountain or Yorkson Creek.
