Three Point Effort from Musa Leads Rivermen to 4-3 Win over Merritt

The Rivermen hosted the Merritt Centennials on Tuesday night looking to start December off with a bang. After a scoreless first period, goals from Riley Wallack, Kaeden Patrick, and Joseph Musa put Langley up 3-0 in the second. Merritt proceeded to add three of their own to tie the game, but around the halfway mark of the third period Musa found the back of the net again and gave the Rivermen the lead for good. Tristan Fraser and Colten Kovich each added a pair of assists. Braedon Fleming made 28 saves in the victory.

Langley returns home this Saturday to host the Trail Smoke Eaters for the 2019 Teddy Bear Toss at the Lodge. Game time is 7:15 pm.

Tickets for home games can be purchased online at HappsNow.com, at the George Preston Recreation Centre “The Lodge” box office 45 minutes before puck drop, and by calling 604-229-2352 or emailing tickets@langleyrivermen.com.
