Quebec Scout – Curtis Tidball

Tidball’s started in the BCHL in 2000 with the Quesnel Millionaires. After a couple seasons in the BCHL with stops in Trail, and the Burnaby Bulldogs, he would join the Quebec Remparts of the QMJHL, playing in the Memorial Cup in 2003. After coming back to the BCHL in 2003-04 to join the now Bulldogs of Alberni Valley, his professional career would kick off the next season after a successful junior career. From 2005 to 2016, he played in the UHL and LNAH which included 417 professional games. He also participated in 539 career fights, which is third all-time in professional hockey. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Curtis currently resides in Quebec with his wife Stephanie, and their three sons Mathis, Malik, and Milan.

Maritime Scout – Doug Jackman

Jackman currently serves as the General Manager of the three time league Champion U18 AAA Pinnacle Growlers, who compete in the NL U18 Major Hockey League in St. Johns, Newfoundland. Jackman has scouting experience in the past with the QMJHL’s Saint John Sea Dogs and Quebec Remparts, as well as Hockey Canada with their U17 program. In addition to scouting, he has also coached with the U17 Program, Canada Winter Games for Canada Atlantic, QMJHL Cup, U18 and U15AAA, and numerous provincial teams. His extensive coaching and scouting knowledge will be an asset for the strong Rivermen hockey operations department.

Eastern US Scout – Todd Dougherty

Dougherty had an excellent playing career, that started in the USHS-Prep with South Kent School, that parlayed into time at Rochester Institute of Technology in the NCAA where he played for two seasons before making the jump to the ECHL. He played 8 seasons professionally in the ECHL, CHL, CoHL, WCHL, and was also part of two Professional Championship teams. In addition to scouting, Todd has coached with the Huntsville Havoc of the SPHL, a volunteer assistant coach with RIT, and has been involved with coaching through youth, high school, and prep school in Rhode Island. He also owns Conflict Hockey, a Rhode Island based hockey development program. His daughter Lillee currently plays in the NCAA division three of Women’s Hockey with Manhattanville University.
