The Rivermen return home after a back to back split in Prince George against the Spruce Kings. In a very spirited two games, Friday evening and Saturday afternoon at the Kopar memorial arena.
The Rivermen have officially named 3rd year forward Tyler Chan as the 14th captain in team history. Tyler is a local player from Burnaby, BC, who played his minor hockey at the Burnaby Winter Club. The Riv acquired Tyler from the Vernon Vipers at the end of the 2021/2022 season.
The Rivermen enter this season with new bench boss Chris Shaw at the helm as head coach & GM, along with ex NHL veteran & Langley Hornet Ryan Hollweg and long time Rivermen assistant Mike Thompson.
