The Langley Rivermen are excited to announce that we have acquired 2002 born forward Matteo Turrin from the Prince George Spruce Kings in exchange for future considerations.
Turrin who is from Montreal, Quebec played last season with the Nanaimo Clippers and the Cowichan Valley Capitals where he scored 6 goals and 4 assists in 41 games. His rights were traded from Cowichan Valley to the Prince George Spruce Kings at the beginning of the summer before being traded to the Rivermen.
“I am very excited to start with the Rivermen. It seems like a great organization and it seemed like they really wanted me.” Turrin said when asked about his reaction to joining the Rivermen.
“I am a player that works both sides of the ice, defensively as much as offensively. I try to make some room on the ice for the other players so they can dance around the other team.” Said Turrin when asked what Rivermen fans can expect out of him.
Welcome to Langley, Matteo.
