Township of Langley, BC, Friday, May 3, 2013: The Langley Rivermen Junior “A” Hockey Club is pleased to announce the release of tickets for the 2013-2014 season. Season tickets for all 28 home games start at as low as $249.00 for adults and $149.00 for students, seniors, and corporate sponsors. The Rivermen organization pride themselves on having an affordable rate so that the entire community can enjoy great entertainment and high level hockey without having to ‘break the bank’.
“We are happy once again to release our tickets at the lowest price in the BCHL while providing a great entertainment option not only for Langley, but for the surrounding areas as well,” said Rivermen Director of Operations Taylor Henderson.
New this year is a single game family pack option which includes two adult and two student tickets along with four hot dogs and four fountain drinks for $35.00.
“We are excited to introduce the new family pack which is something we feel is affordable for families on a budget. It is getting harder and harder for the average family to afford big league ticket prices. We feel with the Langley Events Centre’s production capabilities and overall game experience combined with the exciting brand of hockey we provide, that this package makes for a great night out and affordable for many.”
Henderson also noted the average cost of parking to attend other team’s games or other events (which can range from $10.00 – $30.00 pending the venue) versus the affordability of attending a Rivermen game at the Langley Events Centre, where parking is free.
As for walk-up prices the Rivermen continue to be one of the lowest in the BCHL at the gate. Adults are $12.00, student & seniors are $7.00, and children six and under are free. All prices include applicable taxes and charges.
Birthday packages are always a fantastic option for any hockey fan looking to celebrate their birthday in style at the rink. The Rivermen Birthday Party Package includes 10 student tickets and 2 adult tickets, a team T-shirt, your choice of cake or cupcakes from Frosting Cupcakery, 2 large pizzas, and 12 pops for $179.00 (including applicable taxes and charges). The birthday person will also see their name in bright lights on the LEC Arena Video Screen during the game they attend as the team will announce all birthday’s once during the game. Flex Packages will only be available in the 10 game variety this season. The price for an adult is $96.00 while the student and senior rate is $56.00.
