Ryan Tong commits to the Rivermen for the 2022-23 season

The Langley Rivermen are excited to announce that 2004-born blue liner Ryan Tong has committed to the team for the 2022-23 season.

Tong, who was just recently acquired by the Langley Trappers of the PJHL has 10 goals and 24 assists in 31 games split between the Port Moody Panthers and the Trappers this season.

The offensive defenseman from Burnaby, B.C. sounded excited to make the jump up to the BCHL when asked about his reaction to committing to the Rivermen.

“I’m excited to become a part of the Langley Rivermen organization. I’ve heard great things about Burt Henderson’s coaching from past and present players. I Just want to make the most of my opportunity and be as impactful as possible every time I step on the ice.” Said Tong.

Welcome to Langley, Ryan.
