The Langley Rivermen are getting in the holiday spirit by celebrating RIVMAS. For the last three home games before the Christmas break, fans will receive free admission to each game and a five dollar food or merchandise voucher to use at the game.
“We have always tried to lead the BCHL in new creative promotions and this one that will certainly benefit the people of Langley,” said Rivermen Director of Operations Taylor Henderson. “The holiday season can be a tough time for many and this is a way for our team to give something back to the community, while providing family entertainment during a stressful time of the year.”
The Rivermen kick off RIVMAS with a visit from division rival Prince George Spruce Kings on Thursday, December 18 at the Langley Events Centre. On Friday the team welcomes the Powell River Kings to town and on the final day of RIVMAS, Langley hosts the Victoria Grizzlies. All games are 7:00PM face-offs.
“We encourage the people of Langley to come out and enjoy an evening or three on us, while experiencing exciting junior hockey in their hometown,” added Henderson.
After RIVMAS, the Rivermen will enjoy the Holiday break and resume their season on January 3, which is their first game of the 2015 calendar year.

Vouchers must be redeemed on the date in which it was received (and at the game) with a limit of one voucher per person, per transaction. It must be redeemed at the merchandise stand or concession window on the concourse after doors open and before the start of the third period. There is no cash value (no change will be provided should transaction total not equal total value of voucher).
