Rivermen pride shines bright as goaltender Max Beckford commits to Michigan Tech
Langley, BC – July 31, 2023 – The Langley Rivermen proudly announces goaltender Max Beckford’s commitment to Michigan Technological University. Hailing from London, Ontario, and carrying impressive experience from NAHL and AJHL, 20-year-old Beckford is set to bring his proven skills to the NCAA Division I Huskies’ ice hockey program.
“Securing my place at Michigan Technological University is an honour and a significant milestone in my career. I’ve long aspired to play D1 college hockey at an institution of such high esteem,” Beckford says. “My anticipation grows as I consider spending my final year of junior hockey with an outstanding team and organization like the Langley Rivermen. Langley is the perfect stepping stone, preparing me for the rigours of Michigan Tech and NCAA Division I hockey.”
With Beckford’s commitment, Rivermen fans can look forward to cheering for one of their own at the collegiate level, promising another thrilling chapter in hockey.
