Recycling and Hockey: Langley Rivermen’s New Partnership with NWGR
Langley, BC – July 27, 2023 – The Langley Rivermen announce a new sponsorship partnership with New West Gypsum Recycling Ltd. (NWGR), an organization founded in 1985 with a mission to ensure that no gypsum ever makes its way to a landfill.

Over the years, NWGR has developed a highly-efficient, patented process that recycles gypsum for reuse. This innovative process has enabled the recycling of nearly 6.5 million tonnes of gypsum material. NWGR’s goal is to ensure that no gypsum material ever ends up in a landfill, and they work tirelessly to educate and bring awareness to industry stakeholders about this valuable recycling process.
