After a long January away from home, the Langley Rivermen will return to the Lodge this Sunday to host the Chilliwack Chiefs, kicking off a four-game home stretch. The past nine games have been played on the road, a swing that was not too kind to the boys who came away with two wins in that time. Victories came over the Chiefs and the Alberni Valley Bulldogs. February looks to be an exciting final month of the regular season, kicking off with the first few weeks at home, followed by one last trip to the island, then a trip up to Kitimat for two matchups with the Prince George Spruce Kings, and finishing off with two games in the Lower Mainland.
After Sunday, the River return to action on Tuesday as they host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. The following weekend sees the final two home games of the regular season at George Preston Arena, with both the Wenatchee Wild and the Victoria Grizzlies visiting.
Game time for Sunday afternoon is 2:30 pm and a 7:15 pm start on Tuesday night.
Tickets for home games can be purchased online at HappsNow.com, at the George Preston Recreation Centre “The Lodge” box office 45 minutes before puck drop, and by calling 604-229-2352 or emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
