From Chilliwack Chiefs to Rivermen: Curtis Adds Depth to Langley’s Defense
Langley, BC – June 27, 2023 -The Langley Rivermen are delighted to announce the signing of Hunter Curtis, a talented right-handed defenseman hailing from Langley, BC. Born in 2005 and standing at over 6ft tall and weighing 190lbs, Curtis brings formidable size and strength to the Rivermen’s defensive line.
“We’re ecstatic to welcome Hunter to our team,” said Head Coach Burt Henderson. “His local upbringing, combined with his experiences with the Chilliwack Chiefs and the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds U18 AAA, make him a unique asset. We’re looking forward to watching him fortify our defense.”
At just 18 years old, Curtis infuses the Rivermen roster with both youthful vigor and an impressive breadth of experience. Associate Head Coach Tyler Kuntz further highlighted this, saying, “Hunter is the perfect blend of youth and skill.
