Langlely, B.C., June 22, 2023 – The Langley Rivermen are thrilled to announce the upcoming 2023-24 BC Hockey League (BCHL) regular season schedule. The action begins on Friday, September 22, 2023, and concludes on Sunday, March 31, 2024, promising a thrilling season of 54 games for each team.
The Rivermen will open the season on home ice on Friday, September 22nd, as they face off against the Chilliwack Chiefs. We invite fans, old and new, to join us for this exhilarating kickoff event.
Several key dates punctuate this season’s calendar:
- Sep. 22: Season Opener, Langley Rivermen vs Chilliwack Chiefs
- Oct. 22-26: BCHL Showcase in Seattle
- Mar. 16: Anticipated Fred Page Cup rematch between Alberni Valley and Penticton
- Mar. 31: Regular season concludes
- Apr. 5: BCHL Playoffs commence
At this time, the schedule does not include the BCHL Showcase games, where each team participates in two regular-season contests. The full Showcase schedule, along with the teams, location and dates for the highly anticipated BCHL Road Show event, will be released in due course.
