Rivermen add Dylan Fader as a 2021-22 Commit

The Langley Rivermen are excited to announce that 2003-born forward Dylan Fader has committed to the team for the 2021-22 BCHL season.

“When coach Henderson called me and offered the commitment I was extremely excited and eager to get to put the Rivermen uniform on. Fans can expect a relentless forechecking and defensive zone player who can create plays for my teammates. My 200-foot aggressive play will get me to the net and into the dirty areas. I am excited for what is to come ” Fader said on his commitment to the Rivermen.

The product of Vancouver, B.C. joins the Rivermen after spending the last four seasons with St. George’s School academy team. Unfortunately, last season was cut short due to Covid-19 and that resulted in Fader only suiting up in two games in a lost season.

The 2019-20 season saw Fader play in 36 games for St. George’s School scoring nine times and adding 10 assists.

Fader had a lot of praise for the people who helped him over the years when he spoke about committing to the Rivermen. “I’d like to thank my past coaches, peers, and friends for all the support that they have provided over the years and I hope to make them proud next year in Langley.”

This marks the first player commit for the 2021-22 season under Burt Henderson’s tenure as head coach and GM of the Rivermen.
