Rivermen hire Thomas Koshman as Associate Coach and Assistant GM

The Langley Rivermen are pleased to announce that Thomas Koshman has been hired as their new Associate Coach and Assistant General Manager.

Koshman joins the Rivermen after spending the last four seasons with the Langley Trappers of the Pacific Junior Hockey League serving as their General Manager and Associate Coach.

“We’re going to be a hard working team, it’s going to be a full 60 minute team and it’s going to be fun hockey to watch.” Koshman said when asked how he expects the Rivermen to look during the 2021-22 season.

His coaching career began in 2012-13 as an assistant coach for Briercrest College in the ACAC. After a season with Briercrest, Koshman moved on to become the assistant coach of Trinity Western’s  men’s hockey team in the BCIHL from 2013-18. He also served as an assistant coach for Trinity Western’s women’s hockey team from 2016-18.

Koshman will begin working with newly appointed head coach and GM Burt Henderson on preparing for the 2021-22 BCHL season.
