Rivermen add Upson & Kovacevic in a trade with the Chiefs

The Langley Rivermen have finalized a trade with the Chilliwack Chiefs to acquire Ryan Upson (01) and Andrej Kovacevic (04) in exchange for Cameron Johnson (04).

Upson is from West Vancouver, BC and he joins the Rivermen after playing last season with the Penticton Vees. The 6’0″ 174 pound forward scored six goals and had 15 assists in 20 games during the shortened pod season.

Kovacevic joins the Rivermen after playing last season with the Coquitlam Express as a 16-year old. During the shortened pod season the 6’2″ 187 pound forward from Vancouver, BC had two goals and seven assists in 20 games.
